December 23rd, 2009Decorating My Livingroom

With the holidays in full swing, I have taken a little bit of time to decorate my living room, and not just with holiday decorations but also with nice smelling candles and such. I think that as important it is that a room looks nice and is comfortable, it is also important to ensure that the room smells nice as well. I do this by not only keeping my home clean, but also using an arrangement of nice smelling candles and diffusers, such as DL and Co candles.

I like to go with relaxing scents like lavender and vanilla, as I want my home and especially my living room to be a place where guests feel comfortable and want to stay for awhile. I don’t tend to use items like potpourri as I find the smell of dried flowers to be somewhat old fashioned and not very pleasing to my nose. Oddly enough though I really like the look of potpourri, so if I could ever find some that was unscented I’d probably display it in my home!

December 23rd, 2009Finding A Good Eye Doctor

One aspect of health that many people overlook is there vision. In fact, I have theory that a lot of people out there actually really need glasses, but don’t even know it because they never visit the eye doctor to have an eye test done. I have this theory because I myself needed glasses for many years, but never realized it until I had my eyes tested by chance as I was tagging along with my mother. You see, eyesight generally slowly declines so you may not even realize that your vision has become a lot poorer than it could be.

It’s actually really easy to find an eye doctor, as a quick internet search can quickly pull up many in your area, like this Utah cataract specialist. So, really don’t delay because having bad vision or something wrong with your eyes can cause health issues for your entire body, including nausea and headaches and nobody wants that!
