With the holidays coming up very quickly now, just about everybody is considering what kinds of gifts they will make or purchase for their friends, family and coworkers. Personally I like to make a splash with big gifts for my close family and a few good friends and so I’ve been trying to figure out what those closest to me would like to receive. I know that my husband has been doing price comparison of digital cameras online for weeks now, in an obvious hint to me that he would like one. He’s a great guy and I certainly plan on making his Christmas wish come true, and heck I’m sure he’ll let me play with the new digital camera too.

My husband is majorly into tech and has also been looking at various laptops, probably thinking that I won’t actually let him have a new one. However, we have had a decent year so I am planning to splurge on the laptop he wants, and it will be a huge surprise for him under the Christmas tree. I was actually really surprised with the low prices on many laptops these days, as they have certainly come down in price from what I remember seeing years ago. There are many good brands such as Acer and Toshiba that have laptops for well under five hundred euros.

Now, of course I also have to buy for the kids as well but they’re easy – they just want toys, which I always find fun to shop for.
