For some reason I’ve never found myself to be much of a user of Yahoo’s services. Perhaps it’s because I’ve always found their yahoo.com homepage to be cluttered and full of information that’s not so pertinent to me. I mean, come, are you a search engine or a news site? I always preferred MSN.com for news type information and Google for search. However, Yahoo has now given themselves a bit of a makeover so I may just have to give them a second chance.

Yahoo has taken steps to make their homepage more customizable, such as allowing third party applications to interact with each user’s Yahoo page. This could make Yahoo a one stop portal for each user’s internet needs, so I’m off to give it a shot!
