The important news that many Apple fans have been awaiting out of the giant tech company has at long last been mentioned at the WWDC meeting which is presently occurring in San Fransisco. Oh and for those out of the loop, what is this glorious news? Why an update on the much anticipated next Gen iPhone!

It was no doubt quite the scene at the WWDC today as Apple took to the stage and showed of a new and improved iPhone, which they are calling the iPhone 3GS. Oh, S equals speed by the way. Also of note is that the new iPhone will include a video camera as well as improved battery life.

And when can we expect to get OUR hands on the new device? Well, word from the conference is that it’s going to be hitting store shelves relatively soon on June 19th.
